A partnership with Western Michigan University, The Union is Kalamazoo's only live entertainment venue that features faculty, alumni and students of our local WMU.

The music isn't the only reason to visit The Union. Try Chef Eric's famous portobella fries, or any of the other American dishes 'with a twist'. Gather with friends for a lively night on the town, or over a quiet lunch with colleagues. The Union is the perfect spot, no matter the occasion!

The feel of this local haunt is more than just a restaurant that has live music. Much like a Chicago Jazz bar, consorting at The Union is different. Better. It's a departure from the Midwest, a locale that provides a feeling as much as it does a great meal. A twist on American, Chef Eric Gillish offers some amazing eats, and the collection of items are highlighted with some great signature dishes. Although The Union's menu is a casual one, it is not without its whimsical surprises and often surprisingly modest pricing.

USAF Falconaires - November 12, 2009, 8:00 pm

As one of the Air Force’s two premier jazz ensembles, the Falconaires have brought the great sounds of Big Band Jazz to national audiences for more than 50 years.The band has appeared at such prestigious events as the Monterey and Clearwater Jazz Festivals and Musicfest Canada, in addition to numerous performances at International Association of Jazz Educators’ Conferences. Falconaires members are some of the most sought-after clinicians and performers in America. A driving force in the jazz world, The Air Force Academy Bands’ Falconaires play a major role in cultivating our national heritage through its only indigenous musical genre, jazz.
