Description:The Parks and Recreation Department oversees thirty-six parks and tot-lot playgrounds, including Bronson Park and the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market on Bank Street. They manage the protection of physical and natural assets in the City and provide recreation and leisure programs for youth, adults, senior citizens, and citizens with disabilities. Candy Cane Hunt/Santa's Workshop
Make this a family holiday tradition and join Parks and Recreation Staff for the 3rd annual Candy Cane Hunt in Bronson Park and Santa's Workshop held in the City Hall Atrium. Downtown will be decorated in its entire holiday splendor so bring the family downtown and be part of the festive atmosphere as your children hunt for delightful tasty candy canes and create their own holiday decorations and gifts at Santa's Workshop.
